Warren Miller Vintage Cartoon - “Damn These Cheap Ski Poles.”

This one-of-a-kind cartoon is a signed reproduction of the image originally drawn by Warren in 1947, while living in his famous teardrop trailer in the parking lot of the Sun Valley Lodge. Always the ultimate entrepreneur, Warren had the illustration printed on a post card- rather, 1,000 postcards to be exact- which he then sold for five cents a piece. The unique image has also been selected for the label artwork on the latest vintage of Warren Miller'Ski Bum' wine.

Warren Miller Vintage Print, “Parking Lot”

This signed Warren Miller photograph from January 1948 was shot from the parking lot of the Snow Basin Ski Area outside of Ogden, Utah.

On this particular day, the Eccles Cup Giant Slalom was held, and as Warren likes to say – “the best skiers were in Europe racing for Olympic Gold so I was able to win the race.”
